Happy New Year to all my readers! My best wishes for 2013.
I start my creations of year 2013 with a Lalaloopsy Doll. I really love what they do, how the dolls look. But I don't like the fact that the dolls are hard and plastic. The point of that doll is that its a fabric one... Ah well..
On top of that, the little monsters go at about 30$ a piece.
So I decided to make my own.
Found the following video on youtube by Froggy Creations and followed it with some minor alterations

So instead of using a sock, I bought at Dollarama a flesh coloured cami (3$).
For the hair I bought two purple gloves and sewed them on top of the head. Funny, because the cami gives me enough fabric to make two dolls! I'll probably make a sister Lalaloopsy at some point in the future.
The whole doll took me about 4 hours to make, not so long, considering I spent a lot of time fighting with my sewing machine.
So here is the final result, for your enjoyment
Stay classy, Cakers
Munkey out.
